Community Guidelines

# Welcome

Our community section is a place for sports fans to debate, share expertise, and meet each other. To keep it a useful space, everyone agrees to follow these guidelines before posting.

# Do

• Stay on topic and add something — an argument, a correction, a personal experience.
• Disagree with the idea, not the person.
• Cite a source when you state a fact.
• Report comments that break the rules using the "Report" button.

# Don't

• Personal attacks, slurs, hate speech, threats, or harassment.
• Doxxing, leaking private information, or impersonation.
• Spam, affiliate-link drops, off-topic marketing, or coordinated vote brigades.
• NSFW, illegal, or copyright-infringing content.
• Attempts to evade a ban.

# Moderation

We combine automated filtering with human moderation. We remove comments that break the guidelines and, in serious or repeated cases, suspend or permanently ban accounts. Appeal a moderation decision by emailing editorial@thesportsrise.com.

# Privacy of moderators

Moderators act under the direction of the editorial team. We do not publicly identify individual moderators. Appeals are reviewed by the managing editor.
