THE SPORTS RISE / OUR COMMITMENT

Editorial policy

The standards that guide attribution, source review, corrections, imagery and commercial disclosures at The Sports Rise.

Updated

Sources and attribution

Every published article must identify its author and the sources supporting its material claims. Editors must distinguish reporting, analysis and opinion, check facts against appropriate primary sources where available, and avoid inventing quotations, credentials, visits or first-hand experience.

Images and sports information

Documentary images must have a recorded source and valid usage rights. Original illustrations must be described as illustrations when readers could otherwise mistake them for event photography. Sports information must carry meaningful source and update context; unavailable information must not be presented as a confirmed score or live feed.

Corrections and commercial links

Material factual corrections must be explained visibly in the article. A headline change alone must not imply a new publication date. Sponsored or affiliate content must disclose its commercial relationship, and paid links must carry the appropriate link attributes. Publication and search review are separate editorial decisions.
