Flag football confirmed for the LA 2028 Olympic Games

Flag football will make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Games after the IOC approved it as one of the additional sports for the programme. Both men's and women's 5-on-5 tournaments are planned. It is the first time American football in any form features on the Olympic programme.
