We only send newsletters and marketing emails to people who:

  • Filled in the subscription form and ticked a positive opt-in checkbox;
  • Confirmed the subscription by clicking the link in a double-opt-in email (required for EU / UK recipients); or
  • Have a pre-existing business relationship with us that legally permits the message.

What every email contains

  • Our identity and postal address (required by CAN-SPAM §5(a)(5));
  • A clear "From" address, a truthful "Subject" line, and advertising disclosure where relevant;
  • A working unsubscribe link, processed within 10 business days;
  • Preference controls: choose topics, reduce frequency, or opt out entirely.

Transactional email

Account-security and service-related emails (password reset, comment reply, security alert) are sent to all registered users regardless of marketing preferences, because they are necessary for the service.

Report abuse

If you received a message from us that you did not ask for, reply with "remove" or email editorial@thesportsrise.com. We investigate every report and update our list hygiene accordingly.
