1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website places on your browser so it can remember things about you — your language, your login, your consent choices, or whether you've already seen a specific ad. Besides cookies we also use similar technologies: local storage, session storage, pixel tags (1×1 image beacons), SDK identifiers in our mobile partner apps, and ETag / cache signatures. In this policy, "cookies" means all of these unless stated otherwise.

2. How we use cookies

Under GDPR, the UK PECR, and the ePrivacy Directive we only set non-essential cookies after you have granted explicit consent. Strictly-necessary cookies are set without consent because the site cannot function without them.

Under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework 2.2 (TCF), a Consent Management Platform stores your choices as a signed TC String and shares it with our advertising partners so they can honour your preferences. Change your choices at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

You can also:

  • Clear cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
  • Set your browser to Do Not Track — we treat DNT as a signal to disable analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) header — we honour GPC as a valid opt-out under the California CCPA / CPRA.
  • Opt out of personalised advertising across the web at the networks listed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Changes

When we add a new cookie we update this page, flag the change in the consent banner, and (for material changes) re-request consent.
